Description

This drawing is part of my series called Literal Titles. the idea is that I draw a literal interpretation of the titles of books and movies. So that means that the drawing itself will not necessarily have anything relating to the story/movie itself but rather a literal translation of the title

This is my literal translation of the title: Sweet November (movie).

I am not particularly happy with this piece... it looked a lot better in my imagination :D. This is my first full colour drawing so any helpful tips and comments would be greatly appreciated :D

First I would like to say that the colors alone are very well arranged. I am able to focus on individual parts of the piece and as a whole without it straining my eyes. In fact it is a very easy piece on the eyes. " Witch I love " The only tip I could think of it the the tittle breaks up the bright colors a little too much. The tittle is beautifully done, and looks good no matter what but the blue is brighter that the red on the tittle . but lighter lighter in the background. Maybe if you can find a way to lighten it up a wee bit, it would pop a whole lot more. That being said, I think it is a great piece as is.
